Megan and I went to an open casting call while we were at the Breast Cancer 3-Day. They were looking for people to share their stories about why they were walking. We went and we were cast. We could NOT believe it. The whirlwind continued. We were flown to LA, where we stayed in a brand new Embassy Suites (we were the first ones to stay in our room!) and enjoyed the ride of a lifetime. We were there with 15 other people who had a "story" about breast cancer. DLynn said "It sure sucks to have a story" and she's right. The good news? Just the Dallas/Ft. Worth 3-Day raised over 6.5 million dollars for breast cancer. We're doing something so that maybe, just maybe, future generations won't have a "story" about breast cancer. We spent the first day on Rodeo Drive with a few of our new friends. What's a girl to do? We had to buy jewelry at Tiffany & Co. We ran into a few famous people on The Walk of Fame and got our picture taken with them. Sunday, we were shooting. What an experience! I will certainly have more pictures soon, but here are just a few to get us started.
